On the Agenda

The Offshore Wind Summit comprises a day of packed content, and gives attendees the opportunity to choose from two streams of content for part of the day before coming back together for the final sessions. 

The sessions will include the most pressing key themes currently facing the offshore industry, and aim to infer smarter logistical, operational and energy efficient decisions for offshore wind farms for now and the future.

Vessels & Access:

• Foundations, mooring and anchoring - discussing the latest technology and developments in the field, exploring their benefits and how they facilitate the construction of floating wind farms. 

• Cable laying and monitoring - allowing for continuous monitoring of the wind farm, reducing downtime and improving access for maintenance. 

• Vessels and port access - as turbines and their assets grow larger year on year, with wind farms planned for moving further offshore, vessels and port access is a vital aspect of this journey

Operations and maintenance:

• Smart O&M strategies - including damage and abrasion detection

• Offshore grid integration - exploring how this solution will bring renewable energy to all parts of the globe, bringing us closer to achieving our global renewable energy goals

• Extreme weather - the challenge this poses for O&M decisions for offshore turbines

• Offshore wind modularity - how this facilitates logistical access as turbines move further offshore

• The impact on operation and maintenance
